Originally from Sri Lanka and now based in Europe, with a year living in Dubai along the way, I write from a home-country-insider's view — starting with Sri Lanka, then about boutique and architecturally unique hotels I seek out wherever I go.

My background in hotel management and guest relations means I notice the details most travel content skips: what a place is actually like to stay in, not just how it shows in photographs.
